help

The refugee situation is critical. Hundreds of thousands of people are waiting to be accepted into a new country to start their lives from scratch. I cannot begin to express how deeply and permanently I was moved by living in the refugee camp. And this is my small attempt to help.

I cannot fix this problem. In fact, it feels so overwhelming that I do not even know where to begin. My goal with this project is to raise awareness about an important issue that is being otherwise under-reported and to inspire others to think, work, and develop creative solutions, where the refugees currently are temporarily residing and at home where they will eventually start a new life.
Please help me. Share this video, these photos, and these stories with other people. Friends that already care, or others that do not know about this issue. And hopefully, soon, we can find a way to help the Iraqi refugees.

For now, please follow along on twitter to get the latest news and updates.

    Hi Ano

I got to your site through the link you posted on DP Review.

In the early 1980′s I was involved with Jubilee Campaign, it was a charity set up to help Christians who were suffering persecution in other countries. At that time most of the concentration was on what was happening in the Soviet Union.

When I saw your film, looked at the photos and read about your story I immediately thought of Jubilee Campaign. So I have sent a link to this website to the founder of Jubilee, Danny Smith, asking if he can either help, or make suggestions as to who would be a better source of help. Their website is:

    http://www.jubileecampaign.co.uk/

They have an office in the States, but I don’t know anyone there, my only connection is through Danny at the London office. Hopefully he will either contact you direct, or through me. If its through me I’ll pass on what he said.

On another topic I have used your project as an example of the convergence of film and photography to my photography students at the college I teach at. I am very impressed with your work.

Thanks for posting this project, I’m sorry I could not do more to help you with it at this time.
